University of Muhammadiyah Kalimantan Timur (UMKT) has had the International Relation Office established since December 2015 based on the Decree of KUI No. 114/II/1/AU/KEP/2015. KUI is responsible to the Head of Discipline, the Vice Rector 1 of the Academic and Cooperation field and coordinated with 1 KUI staff handling the cooperation. The tasks of this unit are to facilitate the international cooperation and the campus international promotion. Activities undertaken in KUI include local or intrenational correspondence, bilingual document drafting, document translation service, workshop delegation at the National KUI Forum PTM/PTA, review of study tour program, international program management (i.e. student exchange), management of national and international cooperation activities (MoU / MoA), KUI website administration, to promote UMKT, to socialize campus internationalization program, play a role in editorial team to edit translation of journal in UMKT and so on.
